FARmER FOR A DAY

Step into the everyday rhythm of Øens Have and experience what it truly means to be a farmer for a day. Participants are divided into smaller groups and take part in the practical tasks that keep the garden thriving.

Activities change with the season, the weather, and the needs of the farm — just as they do in real agricultural life. Depending on the day, your group might work on calm, seated activities such as planting seedlings, sorting seeds, or preparing young plants. Other times, you’ll get your hands in the soil outdoors, helping with tasks like preparing garden beds, turning compost, or weeding to keep crops healthy.

Participants are divided into smaller groups and take part in the daily life of the farm. Activities vary depending on the season, weather, and group preferences. They may include seated tasks such as planting seedlings or sorting seeds, as well as outdoor work like preparing garden beds, turning compost, or weeding.

(Needs to be combined with a guided tour, no drinks or food incl in the workshop)

The workshop includes a guided tour of the garden, where you’ll learn about Øens Have’s regenerative principles and how we grow nutrient-rich, organic produce right in the heart of Refshaleøen.

Food and drinks are not included in this workshop.

The menu changes according to the availability of seasonal organic produce, so we always serve the best the season has to offer, both from our own garden and local organic farms - including sustainably caught fish and animals that have lived a good life with care
