Workshop: Saving Seeds for Future Gardens

  • Øens Have ApS Refshalevej 159B (map)

As autumn arrives, the garden begins to shift. While there is still plenty to harvest, many plants are producing mature seeds—a reminder that every growing season also holds the beginning of the next. Gardening is a continuous cycle of growth, decay, and renewal.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, we'll put seeds in the spotlight. We'll walk through the beds together, learn and practice how to save seeds for future growing seasons.

Along the way, we'll also talk about plant life cycles, pollination, heirloom and hybrid seed varieties, plant propagation, and much more. You'll leave with some seeds in your pockets to take home, practical seed-saving skills, and hopefully a deeper connection to the rhythms of the garden.
